A brief report on our first 2 At Home tastings is now posted on the website. Click here to view it. I would encourage you all to take a look at it. Feedback received from everyone who took part was that they thoroughly enjoyed the event and are looking forward to future tastings.

To continue with these outdoor events we are planning another At Home tasting, at lunch time, during week commencing November 9 using the same format as explained in the report.  Please let me know if you would like to join us or if you would be willing to host one of these tastings by emailing me on: timfawle@gmail.com  Also let me know your availability during that week.

This will be the only CBWS event during November as there will be no meeting on the third Thursday of the month. Our next Zoom event will be in early December.

We also completed an excellent Zoom event yesterday where, for the first time a Bodega presented a tasting of some of their wines . Some of you will recall this Bodega which we visited on our 2017 Wine Trip to Terra Alta and Tarragona.

We were not disappointed as Eduard Morell owner of Bodega Vinyes Del Terrer provided an interesting  insight into the distinctive winemaking methods which resulted in excellent wines at good prices. All those members attending the tasting were offered special prices for these wines.

We look forward to many members joining us in future Zoom or At Home Tastings in the months ahead.
