You will see my comments below followed by a full report and analysis of the survey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Neville<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>(1) 58 members completed the survey  &#8211; thankyou. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(2) The overall response is very positive with little evidence of dissatisfaction about the Society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(3) We have quite a few members who are interested in joining the Committee or assisting in other ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(4) In response to a number of questions, some members had a particular view and others had the opposite view. In a Society such as ours we can&#8217;t please everyone all of the time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(5) Themes on which we can consider&nbsp;taking action action are;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&#8211; try to vary the months in which we use the regular locations &#8211; we can aim to do this for 2026 as 2025 is already planned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&#8211; amend and publish our dress code to members. Dress code to be smart casual, jackets optional, but no jeans or trainers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&#8211; consider a tapas event in lieu&nbsp;of a full meal &#8211; we will seek to implement this for at least one event in 2025 and consider again for 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&#8211; consider reducing the number of starters, and upgrade the main course offer &#8211; again we will trial this in 2025 and consider further for 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&#8211; introduce some more expensive wines and occasionally offer more whites\/rosados &#8211; we will do this at some&nbsp;events in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&#8211; all members should be on the mailing list, not just one from a couple. It is the members&#8217; responsibility to ensure that the membership secretary has their email address, they will then receive communications.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Below you will find a summary of the results of our 2025 Membership Survey<\/strong>.
