It\u2019s lovely to feel the summer warmth finally starting to arrive.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A Look Back at April<\/strong><br>We had such a fantastic evening on April 16th.  A huge thank you to Tony and Gro Salter for hosting &#8220;My Favourite Wine.&#8221; It was good to see five of our newest members share their top picks. While it was tough to choose just one, the room voted and Sylvie Vande Pitte\u2019s choice\u2014the&nbsp;<strong>Por Ti (Bodega Luzon, 2021)<\/strong>\u2014won by a whisker!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>New Summer Social: Paella &amp; Wine!<\/strong><br>For those of you staying in Spain this summer, we have a new event. We\u2019ll be gathering at&nbsp;El Moli in Denia&nbsp;on Wednesday July 22 (2pm \u2013 5pm) for a relaxed afternoon of traditional Valencian paella and great conversation.  It\u2019s a perfect chance for our long-term and newer members to mingle and get to know each other over a glass of wine.<br>If you\u2019re interested, please let us know by&nbsp;mid-May&nbsp;via <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSe7nv2UN6gcgnJmhg85hBh759L9ez6iUURnVUy8C0sA9ciyAQ\/viewform?usp=header\">[this link<\/a>]. From May 5th to 8th, 34 of our members will be heading off to explore the DO of Madrid.
