CBWS Tasting held on 21\/05\/2026 at Maxim’s, Moraira, and attended by 81 members and guests. Sara and Neville Richardson introduced “What\u2019s in a label?”. This tasting focused on the connection between the label on the outside and the wine inside the bottle. It asked how, if at all, the label influences our decision to purchase and our perception of the wine when drinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wine 3 Description<\/td>Rated one of the best value rosados by Vivino. Attractive onion skin colour, bright and clean. The aromas blend fruit and flowers: cherries, strawberries and roses. The palate is young, easy to drink and fruity with a pleasant acidity on the finish. It needs to be drunk well chilled.<\/td><\/tr>

Wine 4 Description<\/td>Brilliant ruby appearance and aroma of ripe red fruits and oak. The palate reveals layers of elegant blackberries and redcurrants, supported by structured tannins that contribute to its robust
character. A persistent finish. Best enjoyed with the volume turned up!<\/td><\/tr>
Wine 5 Name and Vintage<\/td>Matsu \u2018El Viejo\u2019 2021. DO Toro<\/td><\/tr>

Wine 5 Description<\/td>A deep cherry colour with violet notes in its border. Intense nose with mature black fruit aromas, well integrated with the toasted,
