Notice of AGM at Hotel Les Rotes Denia on January 15, 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Costa Blanca Wine Society will be held on Thursday, 15th January, 2026 in Hotel Les Rotes, Denia. The first call will be at 6pm with the meeting starting at 6.30pm (this is the time for members to arrive and be seated). The meeting is open to Members only.
If you cannot attend and wish to have a ‘Proxy’ vote, then please notify your vote (‘for or against’ and the item it refers to) to the CBWS Secretary (paulsmithard22@gmail.com) by 2nd January 2026.

*We have3 positions becoming vacant for 2026 which require AGM approval i.e. President, Vice President & Treasurer. From our previous Members Questionnaire, we have applicants for 2 of these positions but not for that of ‘Vice President.
If any Members wish to put themselves forward for election to any of these 3 positions they must advise CBWS Secretary Paul Smithard (paulsmithard22@gmail.com) by 2nd January 2026.
For information, the Committee has co-opted Sylvie Vande Pitte as Membership Secretary, Fergus Fitzpatrick as Webmaster and Val Peachy (currently without portfolio).
Members are encouraged to attend the AGM but we would ask anyone remaining in the bar area (Members & /or Guests) to respect the quiet needed by the AGM Meeting Room close by.
