MARQUES DE RISCAL VERDEJO 2022 8.35

Bright, straw yellow colour. As you would expect from the Verdejo variety, this wine shows high aromatic intensity on the nose, with aromas of fennel, white flowers and hints of aniseed and fresh grass. Smooth and fresh on the palate, with a persistent finish, typical of the variety.

MARQUES DE RISCAL Rosado 2020  €5.95

A wine with a bright and pale pink colour. An intense raspberry and strawberry fruit nose and some hints of flower blossom.

Fresh, balanced, glyceric mouth-feel and a finish packed with pleasant, crisp, sharp fruit sensations.

ARIENZO DE MARQUES DE RISCAL CRIANZA 2018  €8.20

Fresh, fruity wine with a lovely attack, reminiscent of red fruit mingled with the coconut and vanilla aromas from the oak. Full and supple with a long finish. A wine with character which showcases the quality of the grapes used to make it.

MARQUES DE RISCAL Sauvignon Blanc 2022 €9.55

Pale yellow colour with green highlights. A very complex nose with hints of fresh grass over a mineral base which gives the wine personality, and abundant fresh fruit such as citrus fruits, pineapple, or melon. It leaves a fresh, aromatic taste in the mouth and has a clean, long finish.

MARQUES DE RISCAL XR RESERVA €19.55

Very deep, cherry red colour vivid hue at the rim, spicy aromas (nutmeg, cinnamon),  liquorice, ripe red and black fruits (blueberries, blackcurrants) and balsamic notes, good intensity. Perfectly integrated oak. There is tension on the palate, great youthfulness, and an outstanding creamy taste.

An excellent evening from a prodigious bodega, with extremely great wine well presented and very well received.  The atmosphere in the room was electric and we all enjoyed the wine and the company.
